We guide you through every step of Employment Equity compliance – from workforce analysis to EE plan submission to the Department of Employment and Labour. Our service begins with a workforce profile analysis: we collect and analyse data on race, gender, and disability to establish your current representation baseline.
We then facilitate consultation with employees (through an elected EE committee), including meeting agendas, minutes, and proof of consultation – a legal requirement. We draft your EE plan (Section 20 compliant) with numerical goals, timeframes, and affirmative action measures. The plan is practical, not aspirational.
We also assist with annual progress reports and submission through the DoL online portal. We represent you in the event of a DoL inspection or requests for additional information.
Beyond compliance, we help integrate EE into your broader transformation strategy, linking to BBBEE and skills development. We train EE committee members on their duties and on handling difficult conversations about race and disability in the workplace.

Designated employers with 50+ employees or those with annual turnover above a threshold (e.g., R2m in agriculture, R10m in manufacturing). Smaller employers still must comply with anti‑discrimination provisions.
DoL issues a fine (up to 10% of turnover) and may bar you from government tenders. You also lose BBBEE points under the Management Control and Employment Equity elements.
One to three years as per the Act. We recommend three‑year plans with annual progress reports. After three years, you must analyse progress and submit a new plan.
